Aime Leduc photo

Thanks to Jamie Dupuis for allowing us to share his gift of music

With deepest sorrow we announce the passing of Aime “Tim” Leduc on December 3, 2017. He passed away at the age of 86 after an extensive battle with Alzheimer’s. Tim will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marged of 46 years (predeceased), his children Jennifer Robotham (husband Matthew) of London, Ontario and Jessica Leduc-Van Allen (husband Dave) of North Bay. Loving son of Maxime and Ermaline (nee Robillard) Leduc both predeceased. Brother of Alexander, Elizabeth, Louise, Wilfred, Albert, George, Loretta, Reggie, Yvette (all predeceased) and Mary Jane (Sudbury). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Pappa will forever be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his three grandchildren, Oliver, Lily and Avalina. Tim worked for the MTO for 30 years and enjoyed fishing, his vegetable garden, antique cars, tractors and most things with an engine. He was always hard at work even after retirement. When the Alzheimer’s took over he was still busy tinkering and fixing things in his mind, often complaining that he had to do it as no one else was going to. This always brought a smile to our faces because it reassured us the man we knew was still in our lives even if he no longer recognized us. A special thanks to the amazing staff at Extendicare Falconbridge particularly the third floor nursing staff. They treated Dad like he was their own family and for that we are truly grateful and words cannot express our appreciation. A celebration of his life will take place at Extendicare Falconbridge Activity Room on December 28, 2017 from 12-2 pm. Donations in memory of Tim can be made to the Alzheimer’s society. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North. (705) 470-7070

oh girls so much in such a short time…just know we are thinking of you two..and the grandchildren. Your dad was a special person…he would come into mom’s restaurant (before they were married) and always had a special joke to tell…he will be missed. Always a happy person.. Dear Jennifer and Jessica… How tough a year 2017 has been for you and your families…. So much love and sadness there must be intermingled in your experience of losing both your parents/grandparents within such a short time. The thought of your dad and mom being together now may, hopefully, bring you some comfort, yet the journey through the sorrow will be what it is.

Comforting thoughts are sent your way,
Ellen & Ken Kvaltin and family
