Thanks to Jamie Dupuis for allowing us to share his gift of music

In loving memory of Belle (Laurine) Armstrong (nee Seaward) who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Harry “Buster” Armstrong. Daughter of the late Andrew and Rosanna Seaward. Predeceased by brothers Walter and George Seaward and sisters Alfreda, Joyce and Dalis (Seaward). She is survived by her brother Andrew Jr. Seaward of Clarenville, Newfoundland. Belle will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her close friends the Charest family (Gaston, Jackie, Aedan and Alex), Bert Morin, Claudette Nolan, her bingo buddies Marilyn Deline and Dawn Schwar, Fran Bradburn, Rita with her dogs Topaz and Portia and her blue Jays buddy Julie Thompson. Belle was born in Clarenville, Newfoundland on October 17, 1927. She relocated to Ontario approximately 70 years ago. Belle worked in a battery factory in Toronto before settling in Sudbury with Buster. Belle and Buster enjoyed many years at their cottage on Lovering Lake. She enjoyed outdoor pursuits such as snowmobiling and fishing. Belle was an accomplished knitter and many family and friends were the recipients of her artwork. Belle had a great love for all animals and enjoyed the company of her companions BB and BJ in her later years. We wish to extend a special thank you to the staff of Health Sciences North (4th floor, North Tower) for their compassionate care and Maison Vale Hospice (Visiting Hospice Services). At Belle’s request there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations in Belle’s memory to an animal charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North. (705) 470-7070
