It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bernadette Mullin announces her passing on Wednesday, November 7th, 2018. Bernadette passed in peace at the Maison McCullogh Hospice, surrounded by the love of her family and close friends at the age of 92. Bernadette was a selfless, caring person who enjoyed the simple things in life. She spent most of her time doing things for others including knitting or baking, loved the outdoors and was an avid bingo player. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Church and the Catholic Women’s League. Bernadette is survived by her children, Andrew Cote, Clara Cote, Emile Cote, Lucille Szalai (Martin) and Shelley Foy (Andy); sisters, Dorothy Crigger, Anna Rae McEvoy, Carmel Borland and Pauline Rantz (Bob); grandchildren, Krystal, Andrea, Alyssa (Ivan), Emma, Julia and Adam; great granddaughter Elizabeth; good friends Terry Mullen and The Beers family, and many nieces and nephews who she loved greatly. Bernadette was predeceased by her parents Clark and Clara Keenan; husband Lucien Cote; sisters, Mary Burns, Kathleen Daoust, Josephine Sturgeon, Patricia Underhill and brother, Earl Keenan. A funeral Mass will take place at Holy Redeemer Church on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11am. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Maison McCullogh Hospice or the Heart and Stroke Foundation
