Charles Blais photo

Thanks to Jamie Dupuis for allowing us to share his gift of music

In loving memory of Charles “Chuck” Blais, 62 years, who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Friday, June 16th, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved father of Dwayne Blais (Jenna) of London, Neil Blais (Sasha) of Sudbury and Faye Blais (Vic) of Toronto. Dear grandfather of Maddax, Halle, Caden and Hudson. Loving brother of Rick Blais (Carole) of Sudbury, Wayne Blais (Joanne) of Barrie and Terry Blais (predeceased). Chuck was born in Sudbury on April 6, 1955 to parents Marilyn and Gerry Blais, both predeceased. For most of his adult life, he had worked as a real estate agent and broker. In his healthier years, he enjoyed his many walks and fishing. Crossword puzzles was also a favourite pastime of his. Spending time with his family, especially keeping up with all of their sporting activities, brought great joy to his life. Chuck will be remembered as an individual who had a great sense of humour and as a jokester who could make so many people laugh. A real people person, that he was. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. A celebration of his life will take place at The Plaza in Minnow Lake (1463 Bellevue Ave., Sudbury) on Wednesday, June 21st, 2017 from 4 – 7 p.m. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation, in Chuck’s memory, would be greatly appreciated by his family. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North. (705) 470-7070
