Dear husband of Madeleine (nee Sylvester). Loving father of Diane Hayle (Ben) of Hanmer and Debbie McConnell (Marc) of Hanmer. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by his best friend "Tommy" the cat. Clarence was born in Herman, Ontario on April 10th, 1944 to parents Laura and Richard McConnell (both predeceased). He had been a resident of the Greater Sudbury area for nearly 50 years and worked as a miner for INCO (Stobie Mine) for approximately 30 years. Some of his favourite pastimes were playing guitar, fishing, working on cars and putting together many different projects. He was very good with his hands. Clarence will be remembered as an individual who had a strong will and took great pride in who he was. He could always figure things out. Clarence would never ask for help but was always willing to assist anyone in need. He will be missed by all who knew him. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. Donations to the S.P.C.A., in his memory, would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North. (705) 470-7070
