Deborah, Doniec Obituary picture

Thanks to Jamie Dupuis for allowing us to share his gift of music

In loving memory of Deborah Doniec (Porter), age 64.Debbie passed away June 12, 2019, in her Sudbury home after returning from her afternoon walk.Dear wife of Daniel Doniec. Caring mother of Tabitha (Marc) Julien, Jereme (Kara) Doniec, Julianne (Jeffrey) Joki, and Tara whom she loved as her own. Cherished daughter of Sheldon and Jane Porter. Loving big sister to Bonnie (Richard) McAllister, Paula (Michael) Godin, Curtis (Rachel) Porter, Patti (Ralph) Copp, and Stephen Porter.Since her birth on February 13, 1955, Debbie brought joy and laughter to all that were a part of her life, none more than her beloved husband, whom she married on April 14th, 1973. For 46 years she was a perfect compliment to Dan and remained a loving, supportive wife until she died. Debbie enjoyed the simple things in life most – gardening, decorating her home, creating her own paradise for her family. She spent her summers in Sudbury and winters in Florida with Dan. Undoubtedly, one thing Debbie enjoyed most was conversing with family, close friends, or even strangers. She had a special way of getting people to open up and feel comfortable talking to her about anything, which made her a true friend and comfort to all. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses July 11, 1969 at age 14. This began the most important friendship in her life, that with her loving God, Jehovah. As a young girl she spent her summer vacations in her ministry, walking and taking the bus with her good friend Linda, as they were too young to drive. She served her God with all her strength, even as her health deteriorated towards her last years and is now safe in His memory. Debbie’s funeral will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3720 Regional Rd 80, Hanmer. June 22, 2019 at 1:30pm.

Dear Dan, Tab, Jereme, Julianne and family,

It’s hard to describe how tremendously sorry we are that Debbie has fallen asleep. We cannot wait until you’re able to hold her again. Nothing we can say will cure the ache, but please be assured that everyone who knew her is waiting eagerly, as you are, to have our loving, eccentric, and sassy friend make a grand reentrance in a much better world – very soon.

    We love you.

Debbie was the most beautiful soul we knew. She had decorative flair like no one else. She had a back yard that looked like paradise. She was a kindred spirit. She saw beauty in people when they couldnt see it in themselves . Our hearts break today and many days to come.

Our heart goes out to you Danny, and the family. Debbie will be missed, she was a kind and loving person who could always make you laugh . I remember the last time debbie came to visit us in Sudbury , we talk talked and laughed and shared a glass of wine, then after a couple of hours she said she better get home , she had groceries and popsicles that have probably melted in the heat. Debbie loved jehovah, she loved her family and all she new. How grateful we are to Jehovah for the blessings ahead , and the time when we will see her again. We pray to Jehovah to give you strength at this time, our love goes out to you and the family. Love Janie and march .

    Debbie’s Garden
When I was young I was mad all the time
    I was wild and angry
    Cried on a dime
    I had a hero
    He was the man
    This hero of mine
    His name was Dan

    I ran, I played,I rode, I screamed
I hid, I left, came home then dreamed
    Danny’s pocket, full of change
Til one sunny day when all that changed!

This girl showed up to talk to mom
So captivating, she was the bomb!
With eyes of gold & yellow & green
The prettiest thing I’d ever seen!

They talked of love in its purest form
Of God, his Word it seemed so norm
I loved that girl, that angel or omen
Dan burst up “Gonna marry this woman”

Gonna love her til the day I die
    She makes me happy
    I feel so high
    Have some babes
    And I’ll work hard
Deb didn’t mind he was such a card
She planted her garden with babes on the way
No time to waste, but a lil horseplay
See laughter and love go hand in hand
For Deborah and Danny and the Doniec Clan.

They weren’t sick, old or dying
    Loved life, young, no crying!
There was light, I saw hope
    New forever would be
Keep your face to the sunshine
    Shadows never see

    Deb loved her God
    Down deep in her heart
Stay close to him, and don’t ever part
Go out in service, then drink some fine wine
    Take someone for coffee
    Treat your friends super kind

    Tabitha, Jereme, Julianna and Louie
    Made Debbie’s garden so bright
Filled her days with love, joy
    Happiness and delight
But Dan was her man Right down to the end
    The love of her life
    Her beginning and end
    They loved like no others
    That I’ve ever known
    Their love just got better
    Each day as it’s grown

Now Debbie is sleeping and waiting the day
In Jehovah’s dear memry safe for today
With all our hearts aching and tears that don’t stop
    Danny is lost now,
    can’t tell bottom from top!
We are all waiting for that sweet special day
    When our dear pussywillow
    Will come back to say:

Why are you crying? Don’t be so sad
Where is my Danny? Where is My Dan?
Jehovah was true to his word see I knew all along
When did I go? I wasn’t gone long!

    Let’s look at the garden
This time and see the most beautiful
Heart and love that blessed you and me
Tell all you know that you love them today
Deb would be happy for that
    That’s what she would pray!!
