In loving memory of Dora Bell who passed away at Health Sciences North on Friday, December 22nd, 2017 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Lefort who passed away in the Second World War and by her second husband Norman Bell who passed away in 2006. Loving mother of Bill Lefort (predeceased), Mabel Brideau of Sudbury, Jean Bellefontaine (late husband Ephream) of Levack, Dorothy Tidd of Sudbury and Thomas Bell (wife Denise) of B.C. She will also be dearly missed by 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Fred (wife Sylvia) of Edmonton. She was predeceased by her siblings Jim, Emile, Alex, George, Ernie and Eva. Dora was born in San Clara Manitoba on August 19, 1921 to parents Elizabeth and Joseph Flamond. She moved to Sudbury in 1957. Some of her favourite pastimes were baking, walking to the mall and buying scratch tickets but her greatest joy was simply being surrounded by her dear family. Attending church services and Remembrance Day ceremonies also meant a lot to her. Dora will be remembered as a woman of great faith and for being so loving and kind hearted. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. A celebration of her life will take place at St. Andrew the Apostle Church on Barrydowne Road on Saturday, December 30th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (by cheque please) would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North. (705) 470-7070
