Dear sister of Gene Podwinski (Josiane) of Kelowna BC, Gary Podwinski (Carol) of Calgary AB, and Dennis Podwinski of Airdrie AB. Evelyn was such an incredible woman. I barely knew her, but since we were family through marriage (Barbara Ann – Paul’s wife – is my sister) she took it upon herself to make my wedding cake, create blankets when my 3 children were born, even invite all 5 of us to her home some years for Christmas dinners. What I do know is that Brady and Brianna adored her! While there will forever be a void now that Evelyn has left us, those of us who were touched by her can fill the void with our own kindness and generosity.
