Savoie, Hyacinthe (1928-2018) Est décédé paisiblement entouré de sa famille, é Sudbury, le dimanche 4 novembre 2018, é l'âge de 89 ans. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse depuis 63 ans Carmélia (Camay), qu'il chérissait profondément. Père dévoué et généreux de Doris (Rick Pilon) et Marcel (Raymonde Ouellette). Doux "Pépère" de Natalie (Claude Bélanger) et Julie . "Grand papa" adoré de Benoé®t et de feu Isabelle. Arrière-grand-père de Noah et Cayden Bélanger. Frère de Albertine, Aurèle, Alphonse, Gérald, Émérentienne et Alexina. Son souvenir restera gravé dans la mémoire de sa famille élargie, ses proches et ses ami(e)s. Fils de feu Timothé et de feu Marianne Savoie. Hyacinthe est né le 23 décembre 1928 é Saumarez (Nouveau-Brunswick). Il a déménagé é Sudbury en 1955 pour travailler dans les mines et a pris une retraite heureuse en 1984. Plusieurs le reconnaissait lors de ses longues marches sur l'avenue Notre-Dame; il adorait se rendre au centre d'achat pour rencontrer de vieux amis et partager de bonnes histoires en prenant une tasse de café. Même s'il était un homme qui parlait peu, il était toujours rapide avec ses vieilles plaisanteries et son sourire taquin, qui nous manqueront énormément. La famille souhaite exprimer ses profonds remerciements aux médecins et aux infirmières au Centre de Soins Continus St-Joseph pour les soins exceptionnels prodigué é Hyacinthe durant sa maladie. Parents et amis peuvent se rendre é l'église St Jean de Brébeuf le mardi 13 novembre 2018 après 10:00. La messe funéraire sera célébrée é 10:30a.m. Que vos témoignages de condoléances se traduisent en dons au Centre de Soins Continus St Joseph ou é la Société Alzheimer du Canada. Savoie, Hyacinthe (1928-2018) The family announces his peaceful death surrounded by his family in Sudbury on Sunday November 4th, 2018 at the age of 89 years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carmélia (Camay), whom he cherished deeply. Devoted and generous father of Doris (Rick Pilon) and Marcel (Raymonde Ouellette). Beloved "Pépère" of Natalie (Claude Bélanger), Julie, "Grand-papa'' of Benoé®t and the late Isabelle. Cherished great-grandfather of Noah and Cayden Bélanger. Brother of Albertine, Aurèle, Alphonse, Gérald, Émérentienne and Alexina. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his extended family, relatives and friends. Hyacinthe was born on December 23rd, 1928, to the late Timothé and the late Marianne in Saumarez (New Brunswick). He moved to Sudbury in 1955 to work in the mines and retired happily in 1984. Many would recognize him from his twice-daily walks down Notre-Dame Avenue. He loved going to the mall food court to meet old friends and share good stories over a cup of coffee. Though he was a man of few words, he was always quick with his funny punch lines and mischievous smile, which will be sorely missed. The family wishes to extend appreciation to the doctors and nurses at St Joseph's Continuing Care Center for exceptional care given to Hyacinthe during his illness. If desired, friends and family may make a memorial contribution to St Joseph's Continuing Care Center or to the Alzheimer Society of Canada. The family will receive friends at St Jean de Brébeuf Church, Tuesday, November 13th, 2018 after 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30a.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Simple Wishes, Sudbury.
