John Kavanagh

In loving memory of John Kavanagh who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Wednesday, February 1st, 2017 at the age of 58 years. He leaves behind his dear guardian angel Cathy Arnold of Garson. Loving brother of Kathy Montgomery (predeceased), Tim Kavanagh (wife Pamela) of Burlington, Janet Kyle (husband David) of Victoria, Ann Kavanagh (husband Karl McManus) of Toronto and Pattie Dupont (husband Glenn) of London. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was born in South Porcupine on August 31st 1958, son of Teresa and Elvon Kavanagh, both predeceased. For most of his life, he had resided in Greater Sudbury. For the past 15 years, John worked at Home Hardware in Garson. Some of his favourite pastimes were reading, listening to music and watching movies. John will be remembered as a very caring individual, someone who had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need, the kind of fellow that would give you the shirt off his back. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium.
