Son of John and Clara Lowe (predeceased) and beloved husband of Lillian Lowe (Dupuis) predeceased in 1989. Loving father of Darnelle Lowe (Steve) of Oshawa and Linda Lowe-Guido (Saverio) of Sudbury. Cherished grandfather of Eric Lefebvre, Leyna Lowe (Pratish), Christian Lefebvre, Benjamin Guido and Alexander Guido. Len was from a family of 17 and is survived by brothers Eddie Lowe (Janet), Danny Lowe (Cathy), Michael Lowe (Polly), Peter Lowe, and sisters Claire Belland (Ken), Shirley Thibodeau (Tony), Rhea Hall (Tom), Linda Daoust (Willie), Mary Lowe (Tony), Patsy Laframboise and Beverley Ginson (Kauko). Predeceased by brothers John Lowe and Henry Lowe (Noella) and sisters Dorina Chizda, Doris Allain and Margaret Flesch. Len retired from Dominion Stores/A&P after 44 years of service. He was an avid reader and puzzle solver and enjoyed socializing with his friends at the Club House. He was a Blue Jays fan and continued to support his team, the Toronto Maple Leafs, through thick and thin, with a bet on every Saturday game. In his younger years, Len played broomball and baseball and was a dedicated ringette dad. Len will be truly missed by his family and friends, as will his great sense of humour and entertaining songs, stories and jokes he so expertly recited over the years. Wonderful memories that will stay with us always. Thank you to all who celebrated Len's 80th birthday just three months ago. He was very grateful to be surrounded by many loving friends and family. To respect Len's wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. A graveside service will take place at Civic Cemetery at a later date. Donations can be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in memory of Len's late wife Lillian. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simple Wishes of the North. (705) 470-7070
