Lise Gagnon photo

Thanks to Jamie Dupuis for allowing us to share his gift of music

In loving memory of Lise Gagnon who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Paul Gagnon. Loving mother of André Gagnon (wife Sandra) of Lasalle ON, Joanne Kennedy of Goderich, Ron Gagnon (wife Barb) of Blind Bay B.C., Jean-Pierre Gagnon (predeceased) and Diane Gagnon (husband Adam “Hap” Wretham) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Natalie, Rick, Jamie, Christa, Danielle, JP Jr., Jessie, Dean and Phoenix. She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Louise Sarazin and Doris Jenkins, both of Montreal. She will also be missed by her dog Zoey and her cat Sissy. Lise was born in Saskatchewan on March 31, 1937. For over 30 years, she worked at TD Bank in Elliot Lake. Lise moved from Elliot Lake to Sudbury about 2 years ago. One of her favourite pastimes was shopping but most of all, it was spending time with her family, her cat and dog that brought much joy to her life. She will be remembered as a very independent woman who was so loving, kind, funny and protective. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Donations to Pet Save in Sudbury, in Lise’s memory, would be greatly appreciated. Cremation arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North. To my sister Lise,

I still cannot believe that you have left this place on earth. I sit here and think of all the beautiful memories of you and the family starting from my childhood and throughout the years. These memories will remain with me forever. I will miss your chuckle/laughter as well your easy going approach to life, your gentleness and your love and passion for pets.

You always made me feel so at home each time I would visit. Distances did not made it easy to be together throughout the years but for me the bond was always there. I am so happy that I went to see you last summer. It was short but a beautiful get-together and I will always cherish that time that I spent with you.

    Love you,

    Your little sister Louise

    To my little sister Lise,

You were my little sister. We were always together in our young age. We were each other’s company as we grew up. As the years went by, we drifted apart, not by choice, but rather because of life circumstances due to where we lived.

The memories of our childhood and of our special bond will always remain with me forever. I will miss you and keep you in my heart.

    Love you,

    Your big sister Doris

My mom taught me everything except how to live without her!!! I thought of you today, I thought of you yesterday and days before that too. I still check the clock for our nightly chat at 8:45. People really die only when we forget them, you are cherished and loved in my heart forever. You know grief is just love, it’s all the love you want to give but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of my eyes, the lump in my throat. Grief is just love with no place to go!
No words can say how much I miss you and love you! Xox
