Marcel Fay

In loving memory of Marcel Fay who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 at the age of 70 years. Dear husband of Caroline Fay of Elliot Lake. Beloved father of Marcel Fay (wife Debbie) of Orillia, Zachry Fay (wife Jenny) of Val Therese and Laura Fay of Sudbury. Loving grandfather of Troy, Brianna, Hailey, Kayla, Dylan, Kiara, Ebany, Katie, Damon and Alyssa. Marcel is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by all of his siblings. Marcel was born in Sudbury on March 16th, 1947 to parents Aline and Charles Fay, both predeceased. For most of his adult life, he had worked as a cook and manager at various restaurants. In his healthier years, Marcel was very involved in sports and he especially enjoyed watching hockey and baseball. He will be remembered as a very caring individual who was always willing to help anyone in need. Being surrounded by his family also brought great joy to his life. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. A celebration of Marcel's life will take place at the Colson Hotel on Saturday, August 5th, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation, in Marcel's memory, would be greatly appreciated by his family.
