Memory of a memory: One of nicest things about having my Dad live with us was always being available to hear him talk about his life. He would just start to smile or laugh about something someone did 60 to 70 years ago and then…story time. One of our favourite was when he was about 8 years old he went with his brother Raymond to his uncles and bought 4 dozen and one duck eggs. They took all the chicken eggs from under the chickens and replaced them with duck eggs. A few weeks (or whatever it takes for ducks) later, his father (my grandfather) came in the house ‘just a flying’ with a few choice words as there ware baby ducks everywhere. All of the eggs hatched and the mother chickens were not happy. The ducks headed straight for water and their mamas were squawking like crazy all over the shore line trying to get their babies to safety. Not long after…the next generation of ducks and confused grandmas.

So sorry to hear of Angus’s passing. I met Angus quite a few years ago and I felt like we became friends. Angus liked to joke and tell stories and I always enjoyed his visits or calls. Angus loved his family and life. My deepest condolences to the family. He will be missed and I am very grateful that our paths crossed. RIP Angus

One of my greatest memories with my papa was sitting on his lap while he drove his transport around the yard and in or out of the garage.
Watching you meet your great grandkids and smiling on the things they’d say or do.
I love you so much papa and miss you every day.
