Mike Stripay

In loving memory of Michael "Mike" Stripay who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Tuesday, November 25th, 2016 at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband of Dorothy Stripay of Sudbury. Loving father of Andrew Stripay of Sudbury and Theresa Stripay (predeceased). Dear brother of the late David Stripay (surviving wife Diane of Sudbury), Susan Garrison of Hamilton and Jennifer Thompson (husband Terry) of Brampton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mike was born in Sudbury on March 28th, 1951, dear son of Daphne Michael Stripay, both predeceased. For many years, he worked as a small engine mechanic for various companies. Some of his favourite pastimes were puttering in his garage and watching television. Mike will be remembered as a very loving person who was always willing to help anyone in need and for his passion of motorcycles. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. As celebration of Mike's life will be held at a later date. In his memory, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North.
