Morley Whitmore

In loving memory of Morley Whitmore who passed away on August 30, 2017 at Maison McCulloch Hospice after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 53 years to Linda (Bercier). Loving father of Lisa (Dan), Morley Jr. (Tina), Cori-Lee (Paul). Cherished grandfather to Sabrina (Tom), Ashley, Jazmin, RJ, Wyatt. Dear brother of Gretta (late Gord), Allen (Mary), Linda, Cameron, Valerie (late Tom), Marcie, Randy and Roger. Predeceased by his brother and sister Mickey (late Rose) and Virginia. Morley worked very hard as a contract minor well into his 60's to take care and provide for his family. He was a loving caring father with a silly sense of humour. He thoroughly enjoyed teasing the kids, and being a brat. His family could not be more proud of him especially this last year and how he battled his cancer with such grace and dignity. The family would like to extend their gratitude towards Dr. Walton and Bayshore nurses Doris and Joanne as well as each member of the Maison McCulloch Hospice team who took excellent care of Morley in the last weeks of his life. It felt like home. In keeping with Morley's wishes, there will be no service or visitation. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
