Thanks to Jamie Dupuis for allowing us to share his gift of music

It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Patricia Jean Jelly (nee Baker) on May 9th, 2017, with her family by her side. Beloved wife and best friend of forty six years to Mike Jelly (predeceased February 9th, 2017). Loving, supportive and devoted Mom to Teresa Pate (Theo) and Mike Jelly (Lisa). Cherished grandmother to Brock, Bam to Liam and Aaleyah and always the silent angel in her heart, first born grandson, Zachary (Jarrett). She will also be terribly missed by her fur grand doggies Lexi and Hummer. Pat worked as a waitress for many years but her kids were her first priority. She also ran her own catering business for a little bit and in later years drove school bus. Born in Kirkland Lake and raised in Sudbury by her loving parents Blake and Laura Baker both predeceased. Stepdaughter to Lawrence Johnson predeceased. Sister to Larry Baker (Daisy), predeceased by her sisters Bonnie Gagnon and Linda Paul and her brothers Mike Baker and John Baker (Evelyn). Big sister to Laurie Martin (Frank predeceased), Teresa Johnson (Bob MacLean) and Tony Johnson (Sandra). Sister in law to Lorraine Policnik (Lou), Jackie Lariviere (Dave) and Gloria Jacobson (Will). She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews, especially Laura, Katie and Tamara. She was hardworking, devoted to her family and had the craziest sense of humour and made many people laugh over the years. The memories created will always be cherished. She was the best macaroni salad maker and made the most delicious soup that always left you wanting more. She loved reading, playing scrabble, computer games and cards. A very special thank you to The Community Paramedics Garry Lauzon, Trevor Love and Annik Thibault, because of you all, we were able to have mom stay at home and live a better life. Garry, you were our extra special angel and your constant support and compassion came from the heart and you were very generous with your time. Also to Dr. Charette, Julie RN and all staff, your dedicated care, love and compassion towards both of our parents meant the world to us. Mom lived by the motto loving, caring and sharing. Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal…….but love leaves a memory that no one can steal. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In honour of Pat, donations to NEO Kids in Sudbury would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North. (705) 470-7070

I wish I could see you one more time
    Come walking through the door
But I know that is impossible
I will hear your voice no more.
I know you can feel my tears
And you don’t want me to cry
    Yet my heart is broken
    Because I can’t understand
Why someone so precious had to die.
I pray that God will give me strength
    And somehow get me through
As I struggle with this heartache
That came when I lost you.
    Loving you Always & Forever💜
