Paul Barchet

In loving memory of Paul Barchet who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Tuesday, September 27th, 2016 at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of Lucie Perreault of Sudbury. Loving father of Darryl Barchet (wife Marilee) of Ottawa, Denis Barchet of Sudbury and Donna Toews (husband Brad) of Guelph. Dear step-father of Stéphane Perreault (wife Leigh) of Ottawa, Andy Perreault (wife Lisa) of Ottawa and Bryan Perreault (wife Ellen) of Timmins. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren. Dear brother of Bill (wife Yoonjae) of Ashland Oregon (USA), Dorothy Barchet of Ottawa, Dennis of Ottawa and Fred. He was predeceased by his sister Marie Paravano (surviving husband Remo). Paul was born in Ottawa on March 14th, 1946, the son of William and Ida (both predeceased). For the last 40 plus years, he had been a resident of Greater Sudbury. He retired from INCO as an engineer in 1998 with over 30 years of service with the company. In his healthier years, Paul enjoyed reading, gardening (especially growing garlic) and dancing. He will be remembered as a very outgoing person who loved to be surrounded by his family. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium.
