Paul Sommers

In loving memory of Paul Sommers who passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury on Friday, August 10th, 2018 at the age of 61 years. Loving brother of JoAnne Sommers (Paddy) of Kelowna BC, Susan Wadas (Andy) of Markham and the late Mary-Beth Rooyakkers (Micheal surviving of Edmonton). Dear friend of Ally Winters-Fournier of Sudbury. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Paul was born in Sudbury on April 5, 1957 to parents Norah and John Sommers (both predeceased). Some of his favourite pastimes times were reading, walking, travelling and simply being in the great outdoors. Paul also had a passion for geography. Spending his evenings socializing at Tim Horton's also brought great joy to his life. He was a good friend to many. Paul will be remembered as a warm hearted and kind individual who also loved animals, especially his cat Whisper. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. A graveside committal service will take place at a later date. Donations to the SPCA, in Paul's memory, would be greatly appreciated. Cremation arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North.
