I wish to express my most sincerest condolences to Kim and the entire Ducharme family. Seeing as Micheline and I have been best friends since the age of 4, I spent many Friday and Saturday nights staying overnight in the Ducharme household. Rick, Micheline, Robert and I played card and board games for hours on end. Church was a must on Sunday mornings and we all went. Many lunches were also spent with their family as our school was right across the street from their home, so I was often invited to enjoy this meal with them. As we got older, card and board games turned to party nights, which we again all enjoyed as a group. Everyone including Rick always made me feel like a part of their family. Being an only child myself, Rick was one of the brothers I never had. He was always such a happy soul! I have so many fond memories of time spent with the Ducharmes, it pains me to think that they have lost a part of themselves. It is with a sad heart that I send my prayers, hugs and kisses to all of them. Special thoughts go out to Mme Ducharme who has had to endure the loss of a second child. May we all be reunited one day to play board games together once again.
