It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victoria Margaret Riengeutte (née McColman) in Sudbury, on Wednesday, March 20th, 2019, at the age of 52. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband, Richard.  She is remembered with great love by her parents, Patrick and Madeline McColman; siblings Ernest, Patricia (Doug Dunnet), and Cynthia (Travis Fitzgerald); and nephews and nieces Cameron, Cassidy, Kennedy, Avery, and Liam. Victoria was outgoing, loving and kind.  She adored being around people, particularly her family, her friends, and her many co-workers and customers at Home Depot, where she worked for 24 years. She will always be remembered for her ability to see the best in people. With her husband Richard, Victoria was active in the Loyal Order of Moose (Woman of the Moose) and will be fondly remembered by the members of the Sudbury Moose Lodge. We will forever carry in our hearts the happy, hopeful light that Vicky has lit in each of us. Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.” John 11:25-26. A Celebration of Life will be conducted by Fr. Denis Vaiz on Saturday, March 30 at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1887 Bancroft Drive, Sudbury, ON.  The service at 10:00 am will be followed by a luncheon hosted by the ladies of the CWL. Cremation Arrangements entrusted to Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.

How well I remember Victoria as a student at St. John Scool. She was always a kind, generous and thoughtful student. She always had a smile on her face. Please accept my thoughts and prayers during these difficult days.

Dear Uncle Pat and Aunt Madeline, Ernie, Patricia, Cynthia,
I am so sorry for your loss, Vicky was so precious. I will never forget her tiny little body running under our door less kitchen cabinets when we were young. That’s my memory of her, a little doll. Of course I did not know her in adult life but I know she must have been sweet and kind.
    Love, Anne Marie McColman

Dear Pat and Madeline and family, we were saddened to hear of Vicky’s passing on the same day as Dad. I most vividly remember her wedding when I was a little girl; I had a dancing partner that was just my size! Vicky always greeted me with a huge smile and so much love, I know she will be a first class angel watching over all of us. I’m sure she was met with open arms by my Dad and her loved ones. We wish we could be there in person to share in your sorrow and to say goodbye to Vicky. Love Denise and Anne Brule

Omg, I’m in total shock. I just found out that Vicki passed away. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Vicki and I were childhood friends in Garson and still stayed in contact with each other. I last saw her at Home Depot not long before she passed. My heart is breaking right now, I’m so sorry to hear. My condolences go out to the McColeman family.
