Robbie Zakem

In loving memory of Robbie Jay Zakem, "Mr. Z", who passed away peacefully at Maison McCulloch Hospice in Sudbury on Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 in his 68th year. Robbie was the much loved husband of Ann Zakem (Weight) of Sudbury and loving step-father of Cathy Bedford of Toronto. Dear brother of Jane Zakem Snow of Stoney Creek Ontario. Robbie was predeceased by his parents Helen and Tofi Zakem. He is survived by his sisters-in-law Frances Caldarelli (Jack), Valerie Brill (Bob), Susan Presenza (Nino) and brother-in-law Robert Weight (Lois) as well as by many nieces and nephews. Robbie was an avid pool player who enjoyed competition while playing the game he really loved. Robbie's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the staff at the Maison McCulloch Hospice for their support and care over the past weeks. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation at Lakeview Crematorium. A celebration of Robbie's life will be held on Monday, February 13th, 2017 at St. Peter's United Church (York Street Sudbury) at 11:00 a.m. Friends may gather at the church after 10:00 a.m. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice, in his memory, would be greatly appreciated.
