Agnes, Thibeault

Thanks to Jamie Dupuis for allowing us to share his gift of music

Passed away peacefully on Monday February 4th, 2019 in Sudbury in her 98th year. Daughter of the late James and Nan Mathie of Espanola. Beloved wife for 70 years of the late Albert (2012), Agnes will be sadly missed by her children Len Thibeault (Margaret) of St. Catharines and Dorothy Hunt (Wayne) of Sudbury. She will be fondly remembered by her five grandchildren Debbie Paguandas (Larry) of Sudbury, Dawn Hunt of Calgary, Gail Hunt of Midland, Chuck Thibeault (Trish) and Jacy Thibeault both of Georgetown and her 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 brother and 2 sisters, Agnes will also be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Agnes was a woman of her era – a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother – famed for her legendary molasses cookies. She was also an accomplished knitter whose intricate designs were cherished by all. The family extends its deep appreciation to the personnel of Pioneer Manor for all the loving care given to Agnes. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in her memory to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
